Let's Grow Together

A working network for commercial cultivators, breeders, extractors, distribution and retail. We measure flower against instruments instead of opinions, run the panels the industry actually needs, and put supply partners in the room with the growers who use them.

Best in Terps — Las Vegas

Private residence · 20–30 min from the Las Vegas Convention Center · 5:00–10:00 PM

An open-profile battle built around consistency: bring what's in rotation, because cultivators are defined by their last batch. Judges' kits were handed out at the Loud Omakase dinner, and winners were called at 3 PM the next day on the Vault Stage at MJBizCon, booth C27402.

Battle Royale

The competition

Judged by
cultivators.
Screened by
instruments.

Battle Royale is a head-to-head flower showdown scored on aroma, flavor translation, smokability and combustibility — including ash color and burn duration. Before a judge ever sees an entry, it clears a measured qualifying round.

Qualifying step 01

Mill

Three grams of each entry go through the Flower Mill so every sample is broken down the same way.

Qualifying step 02

Dwell

The milled sample sits sealed in a Grove Bag for five minutes with a total VOC meter reading headspace.

Qualifying step 03

Rank

Readings are recorded and ranked. The threshold is set by the top ten scores — miss it and the entry doesn't reach the finale.

Who can enter
Commercial cultivators. Small-batch and hobbyist growers get their own category in future rounds.
Entry fee
None for commercial cultivators.
How much flower
2 oz / 56 g, submitted in the two 1 oz CoNNect Grove Battle Bags mailed to you.
QA/QC
No R&D test required, but every entry is screened for mold, mildew and contaminants. Anything unsafe for judges is discarded, and you get photos of what we found.
Water activity
Measured on the Aqualab 4TE at breakdown, then rolled into 3 g doinks on a live stream.
Genetics ID
Entries can receive a Certificate of Cultivar Identity powered by MyFloraDNA — trait-agnostic fingerprinting from veg or finished material.
